Strathearn ribboned/swirl. ID = IOW Glass

Hi , this weight is a little over 3” wide and has the strathearn leaping salmon on the base,it looks a bit Michael Harris ,anyone know much about these ones ,thanks.

Is that not the flame mark of IOW glass.....you might be looking at it upside down....

It is a mistake many others have made. It's warned about on sites which warn about such things.
The leaping salmon has a sort of double bar across it. It's only easy once you know what both marks are supposed to look like.

Despite the tiny bits of amber which look like silver metal influence, I think it would be reasonably safe to describe this weight as Pink and Blue Swirls.
It is from the earlier times and although many different swirly weights were made, none with official names, this is in keeping with the period in which the Pink and Blue Swirls attenuated bottles were made.  :)
