Topic: Long RD number and name enquiry.

I have been looking at an Eda (Sweden) decanter online and it was marked underneath as Eda 33, and also marked with the name
E Huerson co RD1767577.
I have tried to look up the number in the glass association registration numbers 1908-1945 with no luck.
Do any of the forum members have any insight into the name E Huerson or the registration number?

I looked at this on Ruby Lane and thought they were reading the signature and Rd.No. wrongly. A search found this site, sixth decanter down. I hope this is alright regarding copyright.

Thanks Nev, for putting up the Love decanters site.
Looked at ruby lane listing again and of course the first word after Eda 33 is Elfverson the uk importers of Swedish made glass.
The error on the long number does not look right to me.
Is your interest in this sort of Swedish glass because it glows nicely under uv?
I have a few of these Elfverson and eda decanters.

Hello Tim, my main collection is Uranium glass but I also take an interest in all glass. I would guess that any glow you get from this colour glass is from the Manganese put in initially to remove the green tinge from Iron Oxide in the mix, but I may be wrong. The Love Decanters site shows the correct Rd No.767577.
