This was sold as an Italian oil bottle but I now know it's a porron, originally a Spanish drinking vessel. This one though I think could be made by Biot in Provence, South of France. It only has a few of the trademark bubbles but it does have a domed foot with a circle pontil mark, and a fire polished rim which are typical of Biot. Perhaps made by one of the factories other than Verrerie de Biot?
