Neodymium glass jug.
« on: July 13, 2021, 10:29:22 PM »
Hello all,
Can anyone offer some ID info on this small neo jug please? 5.5 inches tall and although it has a lip, there is no handle. It looks a bit Scandinavian in my opinion but could be any country or maker...maybe Italian. It is very heavy and the base is flat and polished. As always, thank you for any input.

Hi -  it has the appearance of a 'deceptive' capacity - is that right, or is it my eyes again? ;D    That sort of  feature on a jug is unusual I'd suggest  -  not that it helps remotely with attribution, sorry.

The paler pink colour reminds me of this bowl

However that went bright green under fluorescent light and I'm not sure ever got a maker - I thought it might be Scandinavian not Czech in the end.

Ivo also had this bowl which he thought was a Selena bowl by Sven Palmqvist

The 1st photo is in natural/daylight..a very strong dark pink colour. The 2nd photo is taken under a fluorescent strip light...it takes on the greyish/blueish colour but there is still a hint of pink. Whether that is to do with the shape, I don't know.
