Topic: Could this be by Moser?

This is a stunning vase, raised enamelled decoration and gilding, does anyone recognise the maker as it isn't signed.
Not sure if Moser always signed pieces.
Has signs of ware to the base,

That is gorgeous.  Superb.

I would have said it could be Harrach maybe 1860s/70s but I can't find a perfect match for any of the elements and details on your vase in their book.

It could also be Josephinenhutte perhaps.

The little insect and the colours of the enamelling remind me of a Harrach vase I have that was decorated at Clemens Rasch (confirmed by Harrach themselves).

I think it would definitely be worth contacting Harrach to ask them if they can find a pattern number for it or if it is by them.  I'm sure they would like to see it.

I should think even if you contact a general email address on there they might pass on the vase image hopefully.

There is a book on Josephinenhutte but I don't have it I'm afraid so I can't help on that side of things.
However there is this picture on ebay showing a vase with similarly designed handles from the Paris Exhibition 1862 from Josephinenhutte

Could even be Reidel. Moser seems unlikely though

I had thought maybe Schachtenbach also and I think they could be a contender.
I'm thinking it might be Josephinenhutte though because of the handles.
Harrach did make these type of handles but the ones I've seen like this I 'think' might belong to Josephinenhutte.  It also has something about it, the decor gilding,the colours maybe, that make me think not Harrach.

Thanks so much for all the detailed info Flying Free and Lustrousstone,
I have emailed some images to Harrach first of all to see what they say!
So I'll keep you posted,
I have learnt a lot from the info on the other glass firms you suggested, so I will look into that too,
