built like the proverbial brick outhouse, which might suggest it's a firing glass, albeit very plain looking - though possibly more likely to be a pub glass for whisky perhaps. The bird bath bottom is quite substantial with a depth of c. 7/8" (about 20 mm) and there are masses of striation marks from the tooling - mostly around the waist - with much wear on the top rim too.
Height is about 2.7/5 inches (c. 70 mm). Do people think that the barrel shape might suggest some age? All suggestions gratefully received and thanks for looking.
