Holmegaard Per Lutken carafe?
« on: September 04, 2021, 10:05:58 AM »
Hi there,
Newbie here with a small collection of various Scandinavian glass.

Is the attached a Holmegaard? It was sold to me as so, by Per Lutken. But it has no sticker or marks. I didn’t pay much for it so no drama if it’s not but would just like to confirm. Google research turned up nothing.

Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the message board Lorenrose.

There is a really comprehensive website for Holmegaard glass, under designers you can search Per Lutken's work only if you want to filter out the rest: http://www.hardernet.dk/

I have no idea who did make your carafe but if it turns out not to be from Holmegaard then you could try looking through some of the glass makers from Finland: https://www.designlasi.com/en

That style was made a lot by Polish makers.  Typically came with 6 tumblers and sometimes a glass stirring rod.
