squat, colour-splashed vase for id.

I'm plumping for ............    Liskeard, Alum Bay or even Caithness  -  it has what I see often as Caithness colours .............   sort of bluey, purple, violet lines running through the glass.      I thought Liskeard because of the very wide-flanged top rim, and lastly I thought Alum Bay due to the rather rough/broken indented pontil scar.             But of course I could be way off with all of those since I'm no good at coloured glass.         Whatever, the small amount of colour is used well, and makes a small piece very attractive.          The ribbing around the body can be felt so not just optical.
Height is about 3.25 inches (about 8 csm.)                       All suggestions received gracefully, and thanks for looking.

I don't think it's Caithness, Paul, despite the colours which are Caithnessy as you say, but it could be one of the others you mention.

thanks Anne  -  have a feeling you may well be correct about not being from north of the border - the shape itself doesn't particularly make me think Caithness  -  it was just the colour I thought had a similarity to theirs.    Hopefully someone may yet have the answer  -  I like it - the colours in the flesh are quite striking.
