Topic: Opalescent Glass Basket Rustic Briar Handle

Opalescent glass basket with rustic handle.. It is not uranium glass and does not glow even a little.

I think English and that is about the best ID I will get.
The same basket is shown on page 182 of Mervyn Gulliver Victorian Decorative Glass British Designs 1850-1914 book but in a ruby glass.

Measures 8.5" x 5.25" and weighs a heavy 981gm

I had one of these without the handle i seem to remember it was really heavily made substantial
i never did find out the maker sadly good luck with it .
