Hi Sue
I can see why you may of thought Chalet for my bowl - here are three pics of a Chalet bowl very similar but cased in clear glass and has a larger foot.
With best regards

I still keep getting excited thinking I have found the maker as in my search I keep bouncing back to Zemek of the Mstisov Glassworks but their work looks far better quality than my piece.

Your piece looks perfectly well made to me so I don't understand this comment :)

I would have first thought Czech glass to be honest, probably Chribska because of the shape however the fact yours isn't cased would cause a pause for thought admittedly. That said, I can't see any reason why Chribska wouldn't have made a single colour vase over the vast number of years they were making these kind of shapes.

I also have a tall vase it reminds me of and I think that was Skrdlovice.  My vase is two colour admittedly, brown with green casing, but the pulls and the base finish are no different to yours iirc. Certainly nothing  about quality of yours stands out as it looks no different to my vase.

That said, this thread might help :)  it was raised on page 2 that the amber vases on this thread were probably made in Estonia:

Actually I've just been through the entire Museum collection and I don't think your bowl shape is a common shape from there so I'd be inclined to say it's not Estonian.
I still think it's Czech :)

H glassamore, I don’t know much about this sort of thing and wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s Czech  :)

In reply 3 you talk about Chalet Glass being named Murano glass but I believe that was only for a couple of years. There is an article on Chalet Glass here: http://www.antique67.com/articles.php?article=79 That says it started off called Les Industries de Verre et Miroirs In 1958, then changed to Murano in 1960, then finally to Chalet Artistic Glass In 1962. It’s not easy searching for Chalet Glass either as you get lots of skiers ;D

It might also be worth looking at Altaglass, another Canadian one - but possibly the people on the Chalet FB group might’ve suggested that if likely. Anyway, here is a similar one (not cased but with bubbles) attributed to Altaglass: https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?topic=18474.0
