Pink Glass Jug With Polished Pontil ID Help
« on: October 06, 2021, 11:06:16 AM »
Hello, this small glass jug has a polished pontil and the pink colour is applied. Any ideas on maker / era would be much appreciated :)

Hi  -  when you say 'applied', do you mean in a similar way that some cheap glass has colour painted onto the inside of the piece?

Hi - I'm not sure exactly - it doesn't peel but you can see it's faded in certain spots...

thanks  -  yes, that the sort of finish I was thinking of.      I've no clue as to it's origin or date, but would suggest it's very modern and without any pedigree to speak of, though the colour is appealing.         No idea how the colour is applied - a spray finish of some kind perhaps, but other than that regret I'm unable to help - sorry.
