Looks to be a Murano geode bowl. I presume the base is highly polished?
Pinining down a specific maker is going to be difficult unless you come across one with a label.

It is Sommerso. It means submerged and you have amethyst glass submerged in amber glass, submerged in clear there. You can see the different layers of colour inside each other.  :)

What I can't work out is the shape of it at the bottom. Is the profile with a curved base or are the sides straight and the base has corners?

Here are some photos i made of the bottom of the bowl, have a look.

The bottom base is oval as showed in the photos, and the edges are somelike cut/faceted.

 :) I really meant a profile pic.
One which clearly shows the shape of the bowl, from side on. I'm afraid you'd have to get down to eye level with the bowl to take the pic. ;)

I can make out the bottom is curved from those, but not whether it is straight sided. There's a reflection in the top pic that looks a bit like a facet, but isn't.
Glass is really difficult to photograph properly. It is 3D and photos are 2D. You know what it really looks like because it is in front of you, but we only have your photos.  :)

;D Wonderful. Exactly what is needed. We can see facets cut down the sides and an accurate profile. Thank-you very much.

Mandruzzato are probably the Murano maker most associated with those faceted sommerso pieces - and they did use those colours - but there are/were others as well.
