Hello, this tumble up set looks like it has some age to it. I wondered if anyone possibly knew the maker or era?

hi - an attractive item though regret I've no idea as to origin but possible it might be Czechoslovakian.            People's idea of 'some age' might be variable - were you thinking pre WW II, perhaps, or maybe earlier  -  is there much wear?

Hi Paul, thank you for your reply. There's not much wear at all as it doesn't appear used.

Probably brand new then.

 The hand painted design is in almost perfect condition, but it doesn't look brand new and doesn't look modern in style.

They are still made and sold. No shortage of demand for traditional styles out there.

Oh yes, I see new ones often. Do think this is older - will keep researching!
