Can anyone tell me about this vase and the signature?  Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance.

It is 9.5 inches tall and 4 inches wide.

I could read it when it was in front of me, but it vanished when I tried to reply.  :-\
I had to shove some letters into a search engine and hope it would come up with everything spelled correctly. Then I copied and pasted. ;D

Sue I think perhaps the disappearing act was my fault. After I posted the question I realized one of the images was not the one I had intended to use, so I clicked the amend button and changed the image. I presume this was the reason it disappeared, sorry and again thanks for your help,

No, not at all, Mick.
When I click on "reply", the images disappear from view. I couldn't copy them out from the photograph. And I was not familiar enough with the spelling to remember how to.  :-[
