I searched the Canadian Industrial Designs Database https://www.ic.gc.ca/app/opic-cipo/id/bscSrch.do?lang=eng which seems to be the Canadian equivalent of our Registered Designs.

Yes, that’s probably a better search, nothing there going back to 1861 for ‘Jacobean’.

I was wondering if Davidson produced bottles? As the salt shaker is basically a screw top bottle, would they have made that in house or bought it in from a manufacturer who was equipped especially to produce glass bottles?
