Marcus, is this pattern of any interest to you or is it too late/wrong production?

Co-incidentally I just sold three of those candlesticks Anne - nice aren't they?  They went (very cheaply) to a major collector.

They are super, Pip. I have three as well - although one is damaged (I bought an odd one and then found a pair: one was perfect but the damaged one had the label - useful for the gallery!) I haven't managed to pin them down age-wise yet though.

They look typically 1970's to me, that's what I ended up listing them as anyway - it'd be interesting to know for sure.

Hi,
Anne,
Thanks for the offer, but these are as far as I am aware, not Sklo Union, but Jablonecke Sklo products.
Christine, yes, I would be interested in the Feston items, and could you please e-mail me re boots ie Chelford at the end of the month.
Thanks and regards,
Marcus.

Pip, thanks for the date suggestion.

Marcus, no worries... I wasn't sure as they have the Bohemia Glass label with the stethoscope-sort of symbol that you use as your site background... http://yobunny.org.uk/gallery1/displayimage.php?pos=-867. Was this label used by both Sklo Union and Jablonecke Sklo (and possibly by other firms as well?) I have a feeling I ought to know this but I don't... has it been mentioned on the board before?

Hi, Anne,
The label you show in the link, was used both by Glassexport(Skloexport) and Jablonex, to show place of origin, not factory. Some pieces are marked twice, with the Bohemia Glass label and also with factory label as well, so you can find pieces marked Bohemia Glass with a Sklo Union label, Bohemia Glass with a Bohemia Glassworks label (from Podebrady)etc.
Regards,
Marcus
