I picked up this piece on the east coast of the US at a tag sale.  The thick walled design has a tightly arranged array of fine micro bubbles (singular layer) under a clear exterior.  The piece has a thick rolled neck / top opening.  The base has  large recessed polished circular pontil mark with polished surrounding foot ring.  The vase measures 6" wide and 6" high.

Any help on maker / line or gut feelings on country of origin would be appreciated.  Thanks!
