Stevens and Williams? Tankard.

I can't find one the same as this uranium tankard but I found this vase which does have a very similar production appearance.

It is 4 3/4" tall and 4" diameter bowl with a smooth ground pontil an lots of wear on the ribs of the base. The colour is a more teal green than the photos reproduce. I'd speculate late 1920's early 30's. The density is about 3.1gms/cm3 so it has some lead content.

I have a slightly different one also in blue uranium. They may be Stevens and Williams (my gut says the colour might be) but I don't think you can attribute on the basis of the dip mould alone http://lustrousstone.co.uk/cpg/displayimage.php?pid=1556

Yes Christine they are very similar, mine is actually about 1 1/2 pints. Having searched there are quite a few S&W pieces in this swirl design but nothing by any other maker, the style of the base does seem to be peculiar to them although that's not proof. Keith added some photos of bases to this post.
