Slumped and fused glass can be so tricky to id, plenty of people out there having a go, it requires much less equipment compared to blowing glass. Could that be a character in Japanese?

Is it a stylised bee/wasp?  Two antenna to the top left followed by head, wings and striped body.

It's a stylised frog.  ;) There's a cartoon figure I've seen just like it.
