Hodgetts ,Richardson and sons ??
« on: September 11, 2022, 12:40:34 PM »
Hi , came across this 11cm high beaker shaped vase (not sure what it is ),and looking through the Hajdamach British glass book I came across a section on the Hodgetts threading machine .The glass would be threaded reheated and blown into a mould and I would say this piece could be an example ?,what are your thoughts?,I know a lot of firms copied, but they did use this colour ( example page 280 ,plate 27)…It’s relatively heavy with a strong broken pontil, which may count it out , but idon’t know ,and it’s 11cm high. Thanks .
