Grapefruit/Ice Cream?
« on: December 29, 2022, 01:26:34 AM »
I recently acquired these from the home of a family from Norway who moved to the US many decades ago. They are a little over 8cm tall, etched turquoise blue crystal. Hoping someone might know the maker, if they grapefruit/dessert bowls, or maybe liners? I've searched through several databases here in the US, and spoken with a US glass expert, but have been unable to find anything like the color, etching or size. I'm thinking perhaps they are not USA-made. Any hints or leads are much appreciated. Thank you!

Almost certainly grapefruit bowls from the shape and the saucer. They are also engraved rather than etched (etched should be reserved for acid treatment). Rim and base shots would be useful please

Czech possibly for this one too. The rim looks ground and polished rather than heat finished
