Thomas Webb for Fortnam and Masons ?
« on: February 18, 2023, 12:25:24 AM »
12 inches tall with a mark that looks like the Webb  1935-49 mark except it has F&M in the middle, can't see anything in my books or online, it looks like a Webb piece, opinions please.

yes the one in the book is the same shape as the link - shame, would have been good if it had been the same as yours :)

I think it's the same pattern design.  Be interesting to see if it was produced for F&M

Noticed it had been almost a year since this post so did some googling and came across a post from Bernard C. back in 2014 ( October ) about a candlestick with the same mark with a connection to British Glass before the wars, page 101, did try to find the post Bernard made but couldn't  ::) so it looks like it was T.Webb after all. Still waiting for F&M to get back !
