Thick walled ovoid vase. Chinese or other?
« on: March 23, 2023, 04:54:47 PM »
Any thoughts about this heavy (1292g) thick walled vase would be welcomed.  Flattened ovoid shape with a smooth ground base.  It has a white interior and a frosty outer layer.
I'm guessing it could be Chinese, but not too sure.
TIA ;)

Many thanks for the suggestion ;D. Following a google search, it certainly does look similar to some of the white opaque vases with splodges of colour made by Tarnowiec Glassworks, Poland.

I think it's nice enough to be Tarnowiec too. I have a small collection and have always considered it to be very good quality.

It really comes to life in the window with natural light streaming through it.   ;D
