Italian Pink & Red Unusual Opal Type Bowl Barbini??
« on: April 24, 2023, 04:25:23 PM »
Recently i laid my hands on a pair of Italian glass bowls one is easy it was signed
and was my first piece of signed Venini glass well chuffed maybe made by Scarpa but not 100%
The other is the unusual piece i am trying to get some information with it has an almost
opalescent clarity to it and lovely candy twist coloring which is suttle and beautifully
done. It is a triangular shape and good thickness similar in weight and thickness to
the Venini piece i have looked online and noticed some Barbini pieces in a similar
coloring but not quite the same as in Suttle coloring in my opinion that is why i thought
i would ask here both came from the same sellers collection but no information on provenance.
thanks.
