In that case I doubt Chippendale as all the Chippendale pieces I have seen are all rounded tops to the panels, not alternate pointed ones.  It may well prove difficult running this one to earth as lots of makers copied or did similar patterns to Chippendale, both in England and the USA. Let's see if anyone can make suggestions as to who it may have been (or even better, recognise it from the new photo.)  :wink:
