Unidentified Davidson pieces
glassaddict:
Thank you Anne and Glen ... you are amazing!!
Can I just make sure I got things right please?
The twin handled vase is is from Sowerby's "Oxford" suite?.
The cake stand is Sowerby's 2381?. c1920's
The vase is possibly Imperial pressed crystal?. c1960's
And the 2 'ribbed vases' are Davidson?? There is one here http://www.glassencyclopedia.com/Davidsonsglass.html in pearline but no number or pattern mentioned.
Thank you once again
Hil
Anne:
The two ribbed vases - you're correct with the one you found in Pearline... I think this is RD 130643, known as the 643 pattern, registered 13 Aug 1889.
The other one I'm fairly sure is Davidson Chippendale but would welcome a second (or more opinion to be certain).
glassaddict:
Many thanks Anne,
Another picture of the 'maybe Chippendale'

Anne:
Ahhh thanks for the improved picture... are the alternate panels slightly pointed then rounded in turn as it looks in the photo?
glassaddict:
Yes Anne exactly as you describe :)
