Blue Cased vase
« on: July 03, 2023, 07:23:43 PM »
Hi,
Have tried image search for this vase, but not bringing up anything similar - any thoughts on Maker?
Also, what is the best way to describe this vase shape?
Many thanks,
Marie.

In terms of search descriptors, you could try 'beaker vase' or, if it's quite large, 'bucket vase'.
Can't help with maker I'm afraid, although I suspect it's fairly modern.

Hi chasdevlin,
I was wondering about the term: 'Bucket vase', (which I think it does suggest - searched and got loads of metal flower containers), but didn't think I'd seen it anywhere, so wasn't sure.  Hadn't thought of Beaker - will check that out.
The blue colour is much lighter than the actual darker blue - will have to try and adjust my camera (but haven't the foggiest how to do that!)
Thank you for giving me another avenue to check out.
All the best,
Marie.
