Now you've mentioned that, John, I'm remembering baubles I've seen in Carnelian Crafts in Crieff. Sadly, it would appear the troubles of the last 3-4years have put it out of business. It was owned and run by Jane Drysdale, Peter's widow, after he died and Perthshire Glass went with him. She made some lovely fused glass herself, in a wee workshop at the back.
Some of the commercial baubles there had swirls incorporated into the multicoloured spots, with high lustre.
It's the white liner and the crimping made me think it might be older, I think.
I'm still not sure.
