Topic: help identifying green pressed glass American

I have spent a couple of hours trying to identify the maker of this piece.   It is about 6 inches and either a vase or a tumbler.

Pressed green glass, smooth bottom, hefty weight.  Marvelous cube pattern in lower half of piece.
Purchased East Coast of USA.   Would really love to know the maker and have been unsuccessful in researching by image.

including close-up photo of bottom of the piece.   I assumed it was a vase, but it could be a high-end tumbler.

The piece is about 6" tall.

That's a gorgeous design and colour.
Could you turn it upside down and take a clear photograph of the foot/base of the vase please?
The foot or underneath of the vase can often determine who might or might not have made the vase because of the way it's been made.

Thank you!! Here is photo of the bottom.   Note, as I inspect it appears to be flash-colored.
This is why I am thinking it is American glass.

But I know very little about EAPG.

Jeannette and Fostoria did a cube pattern but not quite like yours, have you tried the EAPGS Pattern Index? You could also try the Collectors Weekly site which is US based. It could also be a European design but I don't recognise it.

I was having a little wonder if it might be Anchor Hocking, but I can't find anything in the same design at all.

Are there any mould lines left on the surface anywhere, or have they been polished off?
That is an indicator of quality which might help a lot.
It does look like a very complex and clean pressing.

Ugh.  Interesting.
I posted a second item which is cobalt inverted glass that I also cannot figure out.

Now I understand why there is such a robust glass message board!   Thank you all so much!  I shall assume it is American and pursue it further.

I'm afraid I can't make out what is going on in the photo of the base.
I can see there is some sort of depression inside the base ring it sits on, but I cannot work out what shape the depression is or how deep.
Different manufacturers have different ways of finishing a base off, knowing exactly what it looks like can help a great deal.
