Studio vase with purple spots

Anyone have any clues to the maker of this vase? It is signed I think but far from legible, 15cm tall.

John

Very nice beast indeed,  8) but I don't recognise even a style. :'(
Do the spots have a tiny air bubble in them - it looks as if they might. Kind of like "Nazeing bubbles" with a halo - but these seem to have two haloes - a darker and a paler one.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Could it read MADIE before that?
(I don't think Madge is a very common name these days  ::) )

I did wonder at first if they were random grinding marks but that does not seem to make any sense. Tough to be sure of any of it. Easier for me to photograph the spots!

;D I like the spots. But I can't work out how they could have been done. I somehow don't think it is the sodiium bicarb haloed air bubbles, it's more like tiny decorated bits of cane, perhaps?

Friend has vase in similar colours bigger, quite large but again a sort of bulbous body and then neck similar ish.  But it was that beautiful  coloration and the spots (though the spots/cloudiness on hers is different to yours iirc, that colour mix is the same and just incredible greys and lilacs) that reminded me of hers.  Just checked and hers is signed Adam Turnmill 1986. So Adam Aaronson - so am thinking yours reads Adam 93 ( I now think it reads 93).

btw I covet her vase - it's the most beautiful piece of glass and I want it but she's not parting company with it.  I covet your vase as well.  I love that lilacy colour mix.  Just gorgeous.

Forgot to ask about the pontil mark on hers as that might be a query on yours I think?  if it is by Adam.

I'd pop Adam an email and ask him.  Could be two sets of initials, which I've seen on his work before.  AM/AA for Andy Moncreiff and Adam Aaronson.
