Odd vase, help needed please.
« on: January 20, 2024, 06:16:25 PM »
Not to sure about the origins of this vase. I spent some time going through the big Czech glass website as that was my first thought but nothing stood out.
The one similar feature i saw was some Czech vases had that rolled top.
The vase is 190mm tall, 100mm at its widest and weighs 1.3 kgs.
There is some base wear on the edges of the flattish surface and has some water staining inside.
I think the vase has some age to it.
Any help gratefully received.

Thanks once again John, Narumi/Sanyu fantasy glass. Maybe from the 70s.
I had no idea that the Japanese made that kind of heavy glass. Everyday is a school day.

Usually good quality too, prices have been climbing recently, maybe more awareness and interest at the moment. Glad I am in good company with my confusion!  ;D
