Topic: ID request (Andries Copier Leerdam?)

Hi,

I recently bought two glass items, which seem to be from the same author. They have a modern shape, bubbles in an organised pattern, they are colored, and there is a good amount of wear on their foot. Might not be apparent from my pictures, but there are multiple colours inside the glass near the top rims (red, blue, and yellow), and the whole inner part of the small one is yellow. I think the coloring is probably done via "sommerso" technique (sorry for the low quality photos, my phone can't do better).

I found this very similar glass bowl via google's reverse image search as a help. I know such a source is a weak reference, but here this is marketed as Andries Copier (I guess as a designer), and it is very similar to mine, especially the wavy pattern of the bubbles.
Of course it could be something entirely different (chinese?) according to my limited knowledge, I would be glad if someone could help with it.

The shape and use of colour reminds me of some Novy Bor (Crystalex) bowls but less so the bubbles in yours.

The seller in your link seems to believe their bowl was designed by Copier because it has bubbles but that is wishful thinking at best. Nearly every glass works makes something with bubbles sooner or later...

I'm not at all sure of the piece but did just notice a similar shaped bowl without the bubbles on
Ebay by Flavio Poli some similarities maybe worth taking a look that way

It's a bad idea to believe Flavio Poli listings on ebay. They are generally wildly inaccurate

Using the words: "novy bor glass bowl bubbles" I now found something similar again but this time attributed to Josef Rozinek. Unfortunately the source site is the same unreliable one from earlier.

Well it's the same shopping platform, but that platform will be comprised of separate different shops and they shouldn't all be judged in the same way. Whilst it is generally wise to double check any online attributions, some shops (for example some specialist glass dealers ) will be more reliable than others.
