Frosted Uranium Blue Czech? Vase
« on: February 07, 2024, 01:16:16 AM »
Trying to identify this vase.

I have come across a similar vase online attributed to Vaclav Hanus for Desna Glassworks, though not sure how accurate that is. This one is a slightly different shape around the rim with pointed ends rather than the rounded ones on the other example.

Maximum height 19cm, The two pointed ends are slightly offset, one is approx 0.5cm lower than the other. Slightly ovoid rim, roughly 7 x 6.5 cm, 5cm diameter ground and polished base, weighs around 420g. Has a uranium content with a good response to UV.
Other pictures available if required.

Can anyone identify please?
