Davidson's drinking glass.

Half pint I'd think, press moulded,6 inches tall with lots of wear with the Davidson mark to the base, very difficult to photograph. Picked up from the Stourbridge glass museum.

I'm not sure as the marks are sometimes difficult to tell apart but I think it's a Henry Greener mark. The earlier one shown here.

I really love the crocodile-like appearance of this glass. If it is scarce, was it not originally a popular design?
I want an ice-cream sundae in it. It would look fabulous.

Keith, good luck with your research, there’s very little information around on Greener as only one pottery gazette advertisement exists which only shows one range of a daisy button pattern. Luckily your glass has a trademark which is really helpful. Thanks for sharing. Greener was prolific in creating lots of designs and styles but didn’t mass produce them on the same level as Davidson or Sowerby and was also hap hazard with trademarks so your glass is a great example.
