Identification help please - Sowerby maybe?
« on: July 09, 2024, 01:11:24 PM »
Hello all, I have this beautiful vase that I picked up in a job lot at auction. I have scoured the internet inc. google lens but cannot find what it is.   The mark is very similar to Sowerby Glass but not the same. It’s 20cm tall, rim is 8cm diameter and base is only 4cm so quite top heavy. Can any of you shed any light on this please?  I am a complete novice  ::)

Nice vase but definitely not Sowerby. Looks like modernish studio glass to me

Hi, the mark looks very well defined, is it part of the glass and raised above the surface? Could you provide a photo of the whole of the base please?
