Cut glass vase
« on: August 24, 2024, 10:23:53 AM »
Hi, I'm stumped by this one which is of obvious quality.  Description as follows:

The vase is approximately ovoid in shape and is blown in clear crystal glass which has been expertly cut with repeating square panels in four rows.  The rim is inverted.  The vase measures 8.7 cm (3.5 inches) across at its widest point and is 16.5 cm (6.6 inches) in height.  It ends in a plain base.  There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches, or any other obvious signs of restoration.  The vase weighs in at 1.125 kg. (~ 2 lb. 8 oz.).

Any pointers to investigate much appreciated.

Kind regards to all,
Neil
