Topic: Help with ID please - Large Blue Glass Twin Handled "Trophy" Vase

Can any one help with Id for this vase please. I've drawn a blank so far.

26.5cm tall, 28cm wide handle to handle, weighs 2.8kg. Acid frosted band.

have you tried Pamela's pressed glass sites  -  also what, if any, is the extent of wear please  -  think I can see some, but not much I don't think.

Yes I've tried there, no joy, drawn a blank in catalogues I have access to and various websites also. Image searches have only thrown up one other, a listing on Catawiki from some years ago that is no longer accessable.

As for wear, there is quite a bit but concentrated on the base edges, so not immediately obvious. The base must be angle up slightly. The centre of the base is deeply concave incidentally. There are a couple of nibbles on the Hex base corner points, and on the under base rim, some light surface marks on the body but only one or two and very light.

regret I'm of no help whatsoever  -  twin handles are frequently found on 'loving cups' or loving something - suspect this is simply a decorative vase type whatever.

Yes it is a decorative vase. Twin handled vases of this type (and other glassware) were commonly made in the Art Deco period and into the mid 20th Century, the Davidson Chippendale glassware of the time being recognisable examples, as were pieces by Val St Lambert and some of the Czech / Bohemian factories. Most of them are easily attributable, this one however is not. I know what it is, I'm interested in what I don't know, who made it, when and where. I may never know, but somebody out there may well have the knowledge!
