Georgian facet stem glass
« on: September 30, 2024, 08:21:36 PM »
One for the Georgian glass enthusiasts.
A gorgeous fairly chunky stem with hexagonal facet cuts joins a floral engraved round funnel bowl to a conical foot with petal cut rim. The pontil is polished. Quite tall at just over 15cm and feels substantial although I forgot to weight it!
The pics don't really do it justice. I'm looking for opinions on approximate date to see if they tally with mine.
Any other thoughts welcome also.
Cheers
Keith M
