Can anyone read the signature on this unusual vase, please? As you can see, the shape is similar to a jack-in-the-pulpit vase, but with both lobes at the top facing upwards and more or less parallel with one another.
It is about 33 cm tall, 17 cm across the bottom of the lobes, and about 9 cm across the base. The pontil mark is rough and broken off as can be seen in the photo with the signature. The surface has a bright golden iridescence with a crackle effect, and a pale blue random stripe over the top.
The signature seems to start with a B and the number seems to be 148.
Any assistance with identification is much appreciated.
