Uranium Bowl Murano or Skrdlovice?
« on: January 22, 2025, 03:06:47 PM »
There are some similar ones to this online, attributed to Murano, but I can't find any definite Murano pieces in just uranium green. I'm leaning more towards Skrdlovice but I'm not sure. It has a nice amount of wear on the base, diameter is 19cm. Weight 1.5kg.+.

I have a similar bowl in amber, but have never been able to identify the maker. I was eventually leaning toward Chribska, after looking at at lot of glass, but that was just a feeling. It has been long enough ago that I don't remember any reasoning for that feeling. Not sure if I ever posted it here.
Glass mutt. I collect anything I like & find interesting & is of reasonable quality.

Hello kwqd, I did look at Chribska but the shape and colour don't seem to match. I'm trying to register on the czechglassguide website as they have all the old Skrdlovice catalogues. Meanwhile I found these few pages which show some similar pieces by Jan Kotik and Jan Broz.
