Request help identifying these Reidel wine glasses
« on: February 06, 2025, 04:58:05 PM »
I can’t find details on these glasses online. I purchased them in Argentina, and they are definitely an older model.

Looking for model name and year.

Thank you!

From the Riedel marks page I believe they were produced in 2000 as the etched mark on the foot is the mark for that year.

The model name/ design is presumably the mark on the box Chardonnay 448/97.

Thank you, I did find that date on the website, but there are no images online door that info from the box. It seems that each of their lines are named, though.

Hello and welcome to the board.
It might be worth checking for a match on the Replacements website under Riedel, given that your glasses are relatively modern.

The mark is shown here for 1960 onwards.

The packaging looks to be 1970's ish.

Anne, thank you for the suggestion to look on Replacements.com. I was able to find my pattern there.

Nev,that mark isn't the same.  They made small changes to the mark each year although it was similar in style for a good number of years.

No, they ARE very confusing.  Very alike from year to year and unless you know they made subtle changes it would be assumed they were the same mark.
