Teal/Blue Bowl - Any thoughts?
« on: September 25, 2025, 03:40:54 PM »
Hi - Anyone know anything about this lovely bowl?

It is more petrol/ teal colour rather than straight forward blue.  Base is polished and slightly concave.

Closest I can find is the Nuutajarvi Notsjo Bowl by Kaj Franck but it is definitely not that...!

Any help gratefully received...

Many thanks all!

The shape etc reminds me of this from Strombergshytten
but I don't know if they did this colour and I'm not sure whether it would have been signed  :-\

I see what you mean but the Strombergshytten looks much more ‘free flowing’ whilst mine is much more angular if you know what I mean!

Thank you for looking!

Almost looks like Milan Metelak and Harrochov but the shape is not consistent, likewise a concave base. Bertil Vallien designed a 'blue series' of kitchenware for Boda Afors but again that shape...
