Edit: Royo Candle Holder Was: Moser Mystery

Hi,
I have recently purchased a Moser Enamelled and signed Candle Holder or Chamberstick. No problem with identification because it is signed ROYO which suggests , as I have discovered from various reputable websites that it was made by Moser for the Spanish market. However, I have purchased and seen a number of Royo signed pieces during my collecting hobby I have never before seen a chamberstick. Furthermore this chambersick has peculiarities. Whilst the piece itself seems to be perfect right down to no loss of gilding, enamel or anything else there are 4 spots on the base around the candle "hole" which have small areas  where there seems to be flake damage. The damage is equally placed in 4 small areas surrounding the hole like at the proximities of a plus sign +, although one flake is a bit larger than the other 3. My question is to someone who would know something about these pieces and that is would this piece have originally had some kind of base, or are these marks actually some kind  kind of pontil  mark. I have tried to dowload photo's on Yobunny but failed, so here goes with Tinypic.

Any advice would be welcome.

Frank:
Royo is Spanish glass, when our search is working you can find all of the related discussion. Definitely NOT Moser but the actual maker still eludes. It appears to be still being made but it very expensive.

The colour of your candlestick is IMO the more unusual one, rather than the blue.  What are your other pieces like?  Some of them are really beautiful.  :)

Yes is'n't it confusing. I saw my first Royo piece listed under Moser on the Great-Glass site. I have always given this site much credance. Was I wrong Frank?
The other pieces I have had have been sold, sorry, Max.
This is one that I sold in November on Ebay. I really liked this one, there was a similar example on the Great-Glass site.
