Does anyone have any information on Laguna Art Glass?
« on: January 28, 2007, 07:20:47 PM »
I really like these angel fish, they remind me of the Chinese ones. I think Murano made them too but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I can't seem to find any website or information about the company. All I can find are the handbags on ebay. :)

TC - this link is obviously a complete red herring but I thought I'd best post it in case... the seller is based in Laguna Beach but she's selling very similar Czech glass fish - have a look anyway  ;D

Thanks Pip.

Ah ha, the seller I bought these fish from also had a glass bowl or plate with little bits of glass inside, much like these ones.

Quite nice, aren't they?

Here's another fish but I think this one is Chinese.

It's funny how similar they look, but this one has a slightly frosted base.

I think they may be very modern Chinese. If I remember rightly my local PO has some brightly coloured vases for sale with Laguna labels but possibly no country of origin. Will look tomorrow when I go.

So there's more than one Laguna.

This is a Venetian store in Italy

This is a vase with a Laguna Murano sticker

This probably has the same mark as my Angel fish. Note the similarities in colour to the Angel Fish on Cindy Stalnaker.

Here are some Chinese one's.
