Walther Deco centrepieces
« on: January 30, 2007, 01:47:00 PM »
Has anyone got the Walther Petri or Luna pieces decorated with fish? I have seen these in the catalogues but never actually in anyones collection.Would love to see these in a photo! Also a close up picture of the correct bowl that goes with the Paradies comport stand that is decorated with nesting pelicans?

It's Pamela's chosen signature tagline. You can set one for yourself in your profile if you wish, e.g mine just contains links to my (hopefully useful!) sites.  ::)

Hi Nigel

Are you still interested to see a photo of the Petri centrepiece as well as the Luna lamp?

Cheers

Hi Brenton
Yes that would be lovely! I am yet to see one in the flesh!
Speaking of Walther picked up a blue Glasgow bowl yesterday as well as a green Jobling graces comport!
Best wishes Nige and thanks in advance!

Hi Brenton
They are so wonderful! I am so jealous haha!
I would love either of those and I have some people on the lookout for them for me....I wonder if they were made more for the Australian market than the European?
I once saw the green Petri figure on ebay in USA and was bidding but outbid at the last minute but that was a couple of years ago and never seen one since.
Well done for being able to find both pieces I wish I had something as rare in my collection....think the only thing rare is probably the pink Paradies comport.
I have Relief vases and Harald vases in most colours and 3 Glasgow bowls as well as every Orla but nothing as rare as your pieces.
Oh I do have a blue Koalas centrepiece-nearly forgot about that haha! I prefer the other colours of Koalas rather than blue....would be great to find an amber one as I love that colour!
Thanks once again Brenton for sharing your wonderful photo!
