Could this be a Monart Miniature?
Lustrousstone:
I've just looked at this again, having thought the first time "ooh that's pretty" and Caithness sort of popped into my head. Don't know whether it's relevant ??? :-\ But the base is probably wrong
Frank:
No, I suspect Scottish and as most of the 'new' Monart-like and some Vasart-like pieces are small, and capable of being produced in a smallish studio. I am told they have been appearing in Scottish gift shops for a few years. But no maker has stood up with the pride to declare them as their own work. Pity, because they are well and skilfully made and with a makers name highly collectable. Without that name they are going to be treated by collectors as just another attempt to fake Monart.
