Bagley Leaf and Twine Mount

<< < (3/3)

Connie:
Thank you for all the replies and sharing the pictures of your pieces in frames.

From the responses I gather the frame alone has little value and finding a piece to fit is remote  :-X

I guess it will go in the donation box then  :D

Anne:
Dave (Mr Vaseline Glass) mentioned he picks up odd frames and metalwork to match up with orphaned pieces. May be worth asking if he's interested, Connie?

  Nice choice of words Anne, as a supplement to my one-liner.

He's not the only one.   Most of those who buy and sell have a good collection.   I have well in excess of twenty of those blue stacking fruit/veg trays full of orphans, including at least one small Zimmerman leaf mount.   The trouble is that I never seem to have the right one to make up the set.   Also they move around.   How do I know?   Well the tray I am looking for is always at the bottom of the stack.
