Glass Animals
« on: February 14, 2007, 05:27:50 PM »
Inspired by a trip to the (Glass) Zoo, I have photographed a couple of my unknowns........

3" long, blue glass Terrier

Blue bird on branch, 3" high to wing tip - weighs just 20g and I can't believe it hasn't got broken (I thought the macro lens might take the beak out at one point!).  This is one of my favourite pieces of glass.

Thanks

Frank - I have put more pictures into an album on the galleries site.  Please feel free to use any images at any time now or in the future.

I have a similar blue bird on branch to yours, Cat.  Slightly different modelling but essentially the same I think.  Here is a pic of mine.
