Depression Glass? - ID = Brockwitz Chinapressung
« on: February 17, 2007, 03:00:49 PM »
Have just got very muddy trailing round a soggy field, but have found some nice bits including a pink glass tray with what looks like a version of the Willow Pattern story in the middle. It has the look and colour of depression glass, but I can't seem to find the pattern anywhere. Can anyone help?

I will get the camera out in a bit and take a picture.

Let's try and ID without a photo.

Brockwitz? Service 42000 "Chinapressung". There's a tray, powder jar, paste jar and candlestick - and possibly other shapes.

Hi Glen,

You a a star  :-*, that is it, thank you sooo much.

I have two square dishes which are ice blue with butterflies and flowers on and the words

Patent applied for impressed round the edge.

I was going to get the camera out, but my step sister arrived with her two little ones, and so I've been having a great time with two toddlers, and the best bit is I could send them home! I had forgotten however how hard it is with little ones, I'm worn out now  ;) but will post a picture of these very lovely dishes tomorrow (honest!)
