Most likely not Sabino as it's not shown in Decelle nor in Sabino's more recent online catalogue. Sabino did make a standing stork figure but it's modelled a little differently to this.

This one was sold as Etling but I don't know what the evidence was for that as I can't access the auction - I think it is the same model (two storks?)

Yes, m, it is the same model ... one stork standing and one stork sitting. The description simply states "French Art Deco Etling ...". No evidence stated.

There are quite a few errors* in that catalogue so I'd take the Etling attribution with a large pinch of salt.

*A quick scan through revealed a Jobling bowl listed as French (despite the reg. no. being clearly shown in the photos), a Sowerby Dora vase listed as Jobling, several pieces described as Sabino but which are not, a dahlia pattern bowl erroneously attributed to Hunebelle, etc.  They also repeat the myth of Verlux and Etaleune being Etling marks...

yes sorry - I wasn't giving it as a 'given'.  Just thought I'd add it hoping additional information yaying or naying would be added here :)  in case it came up at a later date and was queried as being Etling from that sale.
